If i create a new Outlook profile there's no OAB created either. The server updates the OAB etc just fine via powershell and the outlook clients are connected by MAPI if i got this right.Microsoft connectivity test tool just reports that everything's just nice and iphones/androids just connect fine to. Rather than waiting 24 hours for Outlook to update the Offline Address Book on its own, you can force an update via the Send/Receive menu button. You can disable the option “Download changes since last Send/Receive” to make sure you get a complete fresh copy of the OAB but this could take longer to download.
The following information in the GAL isn’t available in the offline address book: Outlook must be able to access Exchange to obtain this information.
Your server administrator has limited the number of items you can open simultaneously.
Try closing messages you have opened or removing attachments and images from unsent messages you are composing.
To fix this issue, you also need to add a registry key. If you change the protocol between the MAPI over HTTP and RPC, the primary mailbox isn't displayed.
A number of MAPI over HTTP issues are resolved, including problems with Outlook crashing, email attachments are corrupted during the download, public folders won't open and display the following error message: e Cannot display the folder.
